In a dystopian future where artificial intelligence has become an integral part of daily life, a group of brilliant engineers at Tetravaal Robotics create a unique AI program designed to learn and adapt like a human. The project, headed by Vincent Moor, aims to develop an intelligent robot that can assist in the fight against crime. The team's hard work pays off when they successfully bring Chappie, a small, adorable, and endearing robot, to life. Initially intended as a prototype for military use, Chappie is reprogrammed by the team's young and idealistic leader, Deon Wilson, who envisions the AI as a force for good.
